An occasional chair of unusual grace and elegance, this backless scroll-arm design is traditionally placed in front of a bedroom window. Based on an 18th-century original, it is hand-crafted for us by the same furniture makers in Wales who supply much of our popular upholstered furniture. Considering the quality of construction, materials and finish, the value is outstanding. In the best tradition, the frame is of wooden construction for long-term strength, deeply padded with quality foam and hand-upholstered with a cotton-rich floral damask, self-piped throughout.
